A 'Proxy Avoidance System' is a software application or script that allows users to bypass proxy restrictions, enabling them to browse websites that may otherwise be blocked. Most proxy avoidance systems come in the form of a web-based script that must be run off of a web server. These can take a considerable amount of time, effort and skill to setup.
